- My tour in Africa was only 4 months. Just stood post 6 days a week, and drank plenty of beer on our days off! hahaha
But yeah, to my understanding, southern and northern Africa are two totally different experiences. A couple of my guys got to pull security for this General who flew down to Kenya, and they said it was gorgeous over there. Nothing like the crap-hole we were staying at.
I feel you on the climate, though! It was hotter than hell over there! We had to do runs in that heat, too...it was awful. One cool thing about the place was that it was right across from a French airfield, so we got to watch them fly their fighter jets all day long. Pretty awesome stuff!

- Not intruding at all! I was actually in the horn of Africa in Djibouti (Right next to Somalia and Ethiopia). It was a really dirty country...almost reminded me of a landfill...there was just trash all over the place. The only thing we were doing there was guarding a base so our intel guys could gather info on local terrorist organizations. I didnt get to see anything cool like lions =(
But we DID see a few tiny wild monkies driving out in town! That was pretty neat!

- Awwww Cougar... i think its sassy when your mad... i bet you get that little wrinkle in your nose lmao :D I am just playing.. or not trying to criticize you I think both sides have had their time to vent over the subject and there is not much either side can do right now but come to some resolution on what kind of criteria both can begin to agree on and learn from the mistakes that were made... I mean this is just my opinion.. and working with kids that I have worked with it has been my experience and what I have been teaching them is that you give your self some time to be mad about something but then after that you got to let it go because it makes no sense to hold on to it because you cant change what happened.. i mean i know for a fact being a guy that egos were hurt and some things were done without consideration to others and I think they are genuinely sorry because it was out of impulsivity.... I don't mean to be intrusive on the matter I wish to remain neutral I just wanted to put in my two cents really.. I respect both of you a lot and you are both really good players and fun to be around and I wish to keep that going...because I would miss your baking goods ;D
