Cerberus Operations Group is a milsim team slated to begin play in May 2009, in the Fort Sill Area. Cerberus, or C.O.G., replicates a discreet, small PMC that operates under the direction of the US Army in Kazakhstan, Eastern Georgia, and Western Russia.
C.O.G. will work closely with Kansas area teams, such as FRAT, KCAC and Shadowforce, as well as milsim teams in the Oklahoma region. The founder of C.O.G. Eric Winter (Sgt, Us Army) has spent the last year and a half as XO of FRAT, and brings both airsoft combat experience, as well as command decision making skills to the table.
The primary goal of C.O.G. is to promote safe, mature airsoft play to the public, in order to foster public support and potential recruits for the sport in whole, not just the team. Secondly, C.O.G. will maintain friendly relationships and rivalries amongst local, national, and international teams to promote camaraderie and respect throughout the airsoft community.
Always wear eye protection when handling a loaded, ready-to-fire weapon and/or outside of the designated safe area.
Always call your own hits. If there is a dispute with another player, get the game admin.
Always carry your weapon in a weapon's case when in public.
Always get permission before playing in an area you do not own.
Always inform local law enforcement of when you will be playing, and where.
