its a great gun but i have a problem with the FPS. it worked fine with midcaps but when i got a couple high caps the fps would go down occasionally then spike right back up. sometimes they go literaly 5 feet then drop. i though itt was a feeding issue with the high caps but it did it even worse in seme. anyone have an idea of why its doing this?

It sounds like an air-seal problem. The feeding hole on the hi-caps might either not be long enough to fit flush with the hop-up unit tube, or it might be that the hole on the hi-caps has too big of a diameter. Check on the hi-cap vs. lo-cap in the size of the loading hole.

I have to agree with Shifty's reply. Alot of the clone guns I've seen such issues with. I had the same issue with a Cyma 0.31 AK74 and a Dboys RK01 AKS74U. With any mag, in full auto, a few would go say 80 - 120 ft, then some coming out would only go maybe 20ft. and was a constant issue with the gun being fully stock. Changing out the hopup rubber helped. Then went to a 6.03 TB Barrel and that helped more. But to really fix it I suggest also changing the tappet plate & air nozzle. I use Guarder brand for those and worked out great. There are a tone of other clones I've had these issue with as well which I'm not gonna go into detail on. But I would get a tech to look at yours, or if you know how, just upgrade it yourself. Most likely the barrel isn't needed. But I highly suggest changing to a good rubber like Systema (black) or G&G (green) and replacing the tappet plate + air nozzle. Using the same brand of tappet plate + air nozzle is usually best, as you'll get the best fit if they're both the same brand. There are also some tricks you can do to the hopup + barrel "Teflon mod" ~ cheap and easy to do.

Also with stock guns, it's best to strip it down and clean the inside of the barrel. Also wash out the hopup rubber with some warm water and a little soap. Let it air dry, then reinstall your hopup unit, rubber and barrel.
