I have two questions to ask. What would be the best grenade to use in CQB "in buildings"? and for open areas, smoke grenades, MIIIA2, Tornado, or are there others what might work better than these?
Obviously you'll probably want to invest in re-usable grenades. Ive read some good reviews on the Tornado grenades, so they're probably your best bet for indoor/outdoor use. They look like they can take some abuse. Just make sure that if you buy one to use outdoors, you either buy the bright-colored yellow/blue ones, or you mark the black one with something so you can find it later on after you throw it. Also, for a "stun-grenade" replica, Madbull makes some for roughly the same price as the Tornado (about $100). The Madbulls dont shoot BBs, though.
As far as smoke grenades go, you'll want to go with something that doesnt burn too hot if you're in the woods...dont want to start a fire...and try to get something that will burn for 2-3 minutes at the least, that way you'll be sure to get a good, thick cover for your movement.
Ive experienced both of them inside and out and the Tornado is the best there is on the market. As far as smoke goes all the fields that ive been to that will allow it has been cold smoke only. Available at combatdepot.com
Thank you both. I went to a local airsoft store before the Fort Riley game and picked up 3 cold burning smoke grenades, and they helped out a lot. Again, thanks.
