Red Shadow Series Time Line:

-1984- Soviet Forces make a surprise attack on US forces... RED DAWN (the movie) happened.

-1987- After both sides have decimated each other, a cease fire is agreed to

-1988- A new country is formed. The western 1/3 of the United States of America is now called the American Republic, an extension of the Soviet Union

-2008- Twenty years of an uneasy peace comes to an end when American Republic Forces make a preemptive attack on the Colorado Boarder. A strike force lead by Damon Sickmon was able to establish a foothold in the State of Colorado. With the American Republic thinking they had secured critical infrastructure (I-70) and thus the main road through the Rocky Mountains. The Full invasion began in the Summer of 2008. The bulk of the AR forces pushed to secure Arizona and Wyoming attempting to control the Rocky Mountain Region and thus a large portion of the water supply to the surrounding states. The AR forces were able to push hard and take ground, New Mexico was mostly in control of the Republic, and the Dakotas were slowly falling. Needing to halt the advances of the American Republic, the US decided to push back hard in Colorado and break through enemy lines. Just before winter several key locations west of Denver were able to be retaken, but not after heavy losses, still the counter attack was succesfull.

Red Shadow 2 Intro:
With winter passing the American Republic must again take the fight to the United States and take key locations before their reinforcement arrive and are able to continue their offensive. The US Forces have been able to fortify an area in Moonridge Valley.
The US Forces, led by Russ Gorhum have been tasked with holding the valley against AR attack, ensuring that the US will have solid base of operations for when reinforcements arrive.
The AR Forces, led by Damon Sickmon are eager to regain control of the area before the US is able to strengthen their position and prevent them from retaking the region. Several raids will need to be completed against numerous targets in a short time.

Red Shadow 2 will be Colorado Milsims’ first push towards taking Milsim to the next level in Colorado. The AO (Area of Operations) will be much larger than previous games, there will be some light land navigation, and more “open / up to your Commanders” gameplay. Don’t get us wrong, there will still be plenty of firefights and we are not asking you to show up to go on a nature hike with guns. There will be a cease fire in the field for lunch, but it will be in the field. See our Forums for more information.

I realy want to o and join only problem is i live in maine and i dont think the airport would like it if i should up with a g36 and got on a plane. i will see if i can i realy want to but...
